Cycling has without restraint become a trend of
this time and the Czech Republic offers numerous tourist destinations. Many of
them link up with the European trail network of EUROVELO. The first route that
has opened was the one connecting Prague and Vienna. Its building was assisted
by the Greenways organization and it also carries its name. Moravian
long-distance trail follows the Polish trails in the foothills of the Jeseníky
Mountains and continues along the stream of the river Morava as far as the
Austrian border. Near Valtice it connects the Austrian cyclist trail leading to
Vienna. Cyclist routes also lead along both the sides of the Czech-Austrian
border. Other long-distance trails run around the Lipno Lake and take up with
the cyclist artery passing through Sumava. The Jizerské hory have plenty of
trails as well.
Mountain Biking
Mountain biking is a healthy and exciting way for people of all abilities to enjoy the beauty of Czech countryside. Riding unpaved roads and trails, bikes allow wilderness access faster than travelling by foot, providing the chance to explore areas where Jeeps can't even reach. You can either go at your own leisure enjoying panoramic views, or try some really demanding bike trails. There are selected circular Scenic Routes in Prague vicinity or in the Bohemian Paradise, leading you over biker -friendly back roads and paths. We can rent up to 60 bikes at a time and tours are accompanied by experienced guides / mechanics.
